The Christmas Experience

In just a few short weeks we will enter the “most wonderful time of the year” which unfortunately, many of us know as the most overwhelming and stressful time of the year. To help you beat the madness and start the holidays right, on Saturday, December 2, HICC Kingdom Kids will host The Christmas Experience—a fun and interactive event designed to give your family a chance to catch your breath and reclaim the warmth and peace of Christmas.

The Christmas Experience is made up of three separate activities. Your family can register just for one of them or for all three. The three activities that make up The Christmas Experience are: The Manger Project, Gingerbread Creations and Christmas Cookie Contest.

The Manger Project is a fun and interactive Christmas tradition that helps families focus on the true meaning of Christmas while building a manger. This event gives parents a chance to teach their kids hard work, perseverance, and most importantly, why the manger (God coming to earth as a baby) is so important to their faith. Bring your hammer and your kids, and let your heart be captured by the wonder of the lowly manger.

Gingerbread Creations is a chance for families to slow down amidst the holiday frenzy and enjoy meaningful moments with their children while working on cookie and candy structures. Your hands will be messy, but your hearts will be merry!
